TheRaceDayRaffleSeries.com 175 is about to start so it's time for the Commish to settle back in front of my SPEED TV -tuned semi-big-screen and review which drivers were the most popular Super 7 Sweep picks for RD#34 -- starting with the trucks.

  Kyle Busch 37.1 2341
  Todd Bodine 22.6 1426
  Ron Hornaday 16 1008
  Kevin Harvick 14 881
  Aric Almirola 3.6 230
  Austin Dillon 3 186
  Johnny Sauter 0.8 51
  Timothy Peters 0.4 23
  Brad Keselowski 0.4 26

Kyle was the top pick followed by The Onion, Ron Hornaday, Kevin Harvick and Aric Almirola.  Dillon, Sauter and Peters got a few picks as did Brad Keselowski ... who isn't entered for this particular race.  Pity.

It's hard to bet against Kyle but with Bodine's championship almost a given and Harvick in a Chase mood  the No. 18 Toyota driver will have his hands full.

For the Cup race Jimmie Johnson is the odds-on favorite followed by Denny Hamlin, Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick.  11 of the top 12 picks are Chase drivers with Juan Pablo the 10th most popular pick, before Jeff Burton and Greg Biffle.

  Jimmie Johnson 22.9 1807
  Denny Hamlin 18.1 1427
  Tony Stewart 15.5 1223
  Kyle Busch 11.7 925
  Kevin Harvick 6.9 545
  Jeff Gordon 6.7 530
  Carl Edwards 3.3 264
  Kurt Busch 3 233
  Clint Bowyer 2.4 186
  Juan Pablo Montoya 1.8 144
  Jeff Burton 1.5 120
  Greg Biffle 1.3 105
  Dale Earnhardt, Jr. 0.7 56
  Mark Martin 0.5 36
  Kasey Kahne 0.5 42
  Brad Keselowski 0.4 35
  Ryan Newman 0.4 30
  Matt Kenseth 0.4 33

The one remaining Chase driver, Matt Kenseth, was a less popular pick than Dale Jr., Mark Martin, Kasey Kahne, Brad Keselowski and Ryan Newman.  And even though Jimmie Johnson qualified 25th, Hamlin 22nd and Harvick 27th my guess is it will be the No. 48 or No. 11 up front when the race is over.

Then there's the IndyCar race at Motegi, where last year Danica Patrick got her first and so far only win in the series that she's become the face of.

  Dario Franchitti 38.7 2448
  Helio Castroneves 22.9 1448
  Will Power 20.3 1284
  Scott Dixon 8.6 541
  Ryan Briscoe 2.8 179
  Danica Patrick 1.9 121
  Tony Kanaan 1.6 103
  Dan Wheldon 1.4 86
  Marco Andretti 0.8 49
  Ryan Hunter-Reay 0.3 22
  Graham Rahal 0.2 10
  Ed Carpenter 0.1 6
  Alex Tagliani 0.1 4
  Paul Tracy 0.1 5
  Simona De Silvestro 0.1 6
  Mike Conway 0 2
  Ana Beatriz 0 1
  Adam Carroll 0 1
  Davey Hamilton 0 2
  Takuma Sato 0 1
  Justin Wilson 0 2
  Hideki Mutoh 0 2
  EJ Viso 0 1

Dario was the runaway favorite with all members of both Team Penske and Ganassi Racing in the top five.  And in sixth?  The GoDaddy girl!  I don't know if people truly think she's got a better chance than TK, Marco, Wheldon and RHR or if they're just Danicamaniacs who want her to get win number two in the land of the rising sun.

My guess is they're wishful thinkers.  Which is all well and good unless you're playing for points and prizes, which is why I think the winner will be a Penske or Ganassi driver ... and yes, I picked one of each.
