TheRaceDayRaffleSeries.com 175 is about to start so it's time for the Commish to settle back in front of my SPEED TV -tuned semi-big-screen and review which drivers were the most popular Super 7 Sweep picks for RD#34 -- starting with the trucks.

Kyle was the top pick followed by The Onion, Ron Hornaday, Kevin Harvick and Aric Almirola. Dillon, Sauter and Peters got a few picks as did Brad Keselowski ... who isn't entered for this particular race. Pity.
It's hard to bet against Kyle but with Bodine's championship almost a given and Harvick in a Chase mood the No. 18 Toyota driver will have his hands full.
For the Cup race Jimmie Johnson is the odds-on favorite followed by Denny Hamlin, Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick. 11 of the top 12 picks are Chase drivers with Juan Pablo the 10th most popular pick, before Jeff Burton and Greg Biffle.

The one remaining Chase driver, Matt Kenseth, was a less popular pick than Dale Jr., Mark Martin, Kasey Kahne, Brad Keselowski and Ryan Newman. And even though Jimmie Johnson qualified 25th, Hamlin 22nd and Harvick 27th my guess is it will be the No. 48 or No. 11 up front when the race is over.
Then there's the IndyCar race at Motegi, where last year Danica Patrick got her first and so far only win in the series that she's become the face of.

Dario was the runaway favorite with all members of both Team Penske and Ganassi Racing in the top five. And in sixth? The GoDaddy girl! I don't know if people truly think she's got a better chance than TK, Marco, Wheldon and RHR or if they're just Danicamaniacs who want her to get win number two in the land of the rising sun.
My guess is they're wishful thinkers. Which is all well and good unless you're playing for points and prizes, which is why I think the winner will be a Penske or Ganassi driver ... and yes, I picked one of each.
