Tony Stewart got his first win at California Speedway on Sunday, beating Clint Bowyer, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman.  Mark Martin led the most laps and finished sixth in front of Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Jeff Gordon and David Reutimann.

Polesitter Jamie McMurray was 17th for zero FMFL points, one spot behind Dale Jr. and five spots better than Kurt Busch.  Roush Fenway should've stayed home as Biffle done blowed up right off the bat, Kenseth and Flipper limped home in 30th and 34th and David Ragan crashed.  Kyle Busch DNF'd too.

But on Saturday is was Kyle getting a record-setting 12th Nationwide series win of the season over Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards and Joey Logano.  Harvick led the most laps and had the best car on long runs but a couple of bad pit stops ruined any chance at victory.

Aric Almirola was sixth in the No. 88 DEI Chevy ahead of Ryan Newman, Justin Allgaier, Mike Bliss and Reed Sorenson.  Trevor Bayne was a decent 11th for Roush Fenway, leading teammates Paul Menard and Colin Braun to the finish.  Danica qualified 14th and ran pretty good; set for a top 15 finish she got wrecked by James Buescher and finished 30th, in the garage.

Sebastian Vettel started from pole and led the most laps at Suzuka to win the GP of Japan over teammate Mark Weber and Fernando Alonso.  Team McLaren was next with Button in front of Hamilton with Michael Schumacher sixth, Rubens Barichello ninth and both Renaults out in the opening laps.

NOTE to Super 7 Sweep players:  The lineup options for RD# 39 will not change if the Korean GP is cancelled so you'd best pay attention to make sure you're not starting four drivers who are taking the weekend off.
