The Continental Tire Series 200 miler at Daytona is over with Jack Roush Jr. and Billy Johnson taking the win over a bunch of Beemers.  I tried to watch the race on SPEED2 but had download issues; it was like it would buffer for five seconds and then freeze.  Oh well.  I tried.

Good for Ford, Roush Performance, the team's sponsors and the too few fans.  Now on to the points-paying RD#1 Rolex 24.

l love the Corvette bodywork and wish and hope and pray the other engine manufacturers will come up with their own company brand skin.  Mainly because I want the Daytona Prototypes to continue their pygmalion push to better aeshetics but also because it would simplify the manufacturer definitions.

This game began in 1989 and we started including the Rolex Series in 2002.  This year, for the very first time, The Commish is actually starting a GT car because I believe crash damage and mechanical failures will result  in a half a dozen DPs at the top of the top 16 and anything can happen from that point back.

My interest in F1 never wanes and I can't wait for IndyCar to start, NASCAR is the 400 lb. gorilla so I'm always into Cup, NNS and trucks and I'm pissadointed that Peugeot pulled out off ALMS (even though they only raced here twice a year) and worried the spec LMPC are going to take over the top 16.

We'll see.

SPEED and Wind Tunnel are still crossing eyes and dotting tease ideas for this year's prizes and we'll have more information as soon as possible.

Good luck to all and let's hope we have a fun and completely safe season.
